Men's Cross Country Takes 14th At NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals

Senior Mike May paces the Owls in 31st place
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - The Temple men's cross country team took 14th place at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals, led by a 31st place finish from senior Mike May. May, fresh off another stellar performance at the Atlantic 10 Championships, finished in a time of 31:14.
Junior Travis Mahoney aided the Owls' efforts as the second fastest finisher, placing 66th in a time of 32:02. Senior Eddie Penetar came in as the third fastest TU runner, placing 75th in a time of 32:14. Junior Ben Thomas ran a time of 33:02 to place 108th, freshman Will Kellar placed 110th in a time of 33:04, senior Eric Conklin placed 112th in a time of 33:08 and junior Geoff Barletta ended in 158th with a time of 34:47.
The Temple men's cross country team's IC4A qualifiers will travel to Van Courtland Park in the Bronx, N.Y. to compete in the IC4A Championship on November 20.
