Diamond Owls get in the holiday spirit
PHILADELPHIA - The Temple baseball team visited Shriners Hospital for Children yesterday in an effort to spread some holiday cheer. The Cherry and White took time to put up holiday decorations in parts of the hospital, which provides free orthopedic and burn care for children under 18.
"It was our pleasure to help brighten the day for the children and staff at Shriners," said head coach Rob Valli of the visit. "We had a great time decorating and look forward to spending more time with the kids throughout the holiday season."
The Diamond Owls will make another trip back to Shriners on December 10 to play and take part in activities with the children.
