Gishkaev picks up fifth singles win for lone Owls point
NORFOLK, Va. - The Temple men's tennis team continued its trip to Virginia with a match at Old Dominion on Saturday, February 13. The Owls dropped a 6-1 decision to the Monarchs.
ODU swept the doubles point to go up 1-0 early in the match. Filip and Kacper Rams nearly pulled off a win at number one, falling 9-8 (5) to Tobias Fanselow and Benjamin Chomette.
Temple's point came at number five singles, where Mansur Gishkaev needed three sets to get by Albert Ochagavia, 6-2, 3-6, 1-0.
The Owls are back in action on Saturday, February 20, when they face Old Dominion for the second time in a week.
