Come Support the Temple Women's Basketball Team at the 2010 NCAA Selection Monday Party

All fans and media welcome; doors will open at 6:00 p.m. at the Liacouras Center

PHILADELPHIA - Come support the Temple women's basketball team as it awaits its placement and seeding in the 2010 NCAA Tournament. The Temple team, pep band and cheerleaders will host a Selection Monday party on March 15 in the Fox-Gittis Room off the lobby of the Liacouras Center. The party is open to the public and begins at 6:00 p.m. The selection show airs live on ESPN at 7:00 p.m.

Temple finished the regular season with a record of 24-8, and the third-seeded Owls advanced to the Atlantic 10 Tournament Championship before falling in an overtime heartbreaker to top-seeded and #5/5 Xavier.

Sophomore Kristen McCarthy and senior LaKeisha Eaddy earned A-10 All-Tournament Team honors. McCarthy was also named to the A-10 First Team, while Eaddy was selected to the A-10 Third Team as well as the A-10 Defensive Team.
