Gishkaev takes singles match for lone point

VESTAL, N.Y.—Temple's men's tennis team went up against a tough Binghamton squad, ranked 52nd in the country, on Sunday, April 11. The Owls fell 6-1 to the Bearcats.

The victories stretched BU's school-record win streak to 17 matches and broke the program record for most wins in a season. The 2004-05 team won 21 matches to establish the mark.

Mansur Gishkaev was the only Owl able to come out victorious against the talented Binghamton squad, winning his sixth flight match, 6-2, 7-6 (6).

TU is back in action on Wednesday, April 14, when it host UMBC for a 1:00 p.m. match.
