Men's Tennis Earns Decisive 7-0 Win Over Hofstra

Filip and Kacper Rams cruise to seventh-straight doubles win
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Temple men's tennis team played its only match at TU Pavilion this season, defeating visiting Hofstra 7-0 on Friday, April 2.
Filip and Kacper Rams continued their solid play together, teaming up at number one doubles to defeat Jon Disley and Ben Thompson-Star, 8-0. Mansur Gishkaev and Dmitry Vizhunov earned an 8-3 win at second doubles, while Luv Sodha and Andrey Morozov paired up for the first time this season to win at number three, 8-6, for the doubles sweep.
Morozov then stepped in on the first singles court for the first time this season, winning 6-3, 6-4, over Thompson-Star. Kacper Rams followed suit with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Pedro Gimenez at number two, and Vizhunov earned a straight-set victory, dropping just one game, over Johan Vila at number three.
Rounding out the six singles matches were Stanislav Stekolshikov with his 6-1, 6-2 defeat of Jason Sinkoff at the fourth flight, Mansur Gishkaev's 8-4 win over Disley at number five, and Sodha in a 6-0, 6-3 win against Tyler Allen.
