Sophomore takes eighth in dash, helps relay to third place
PRINCETON, N.J. – Sophomore Emmanuel Freeland placed eight in the 100m dash while also guiding the 4x100m relay team to a third place finish during the final day of the 2010 IC4A Championships, held at Princeton University.
The 4x100m relay, comprised of junior Miles Dryden, senior Tim Boeni, senior Josue Louis, and Freeland, turned in a time of 40.51 to place fourth. The Owls were nearly on their school record pace of a day ago, when they ran 40.45.
Freeland clocked in at 10.72 in the 100m dash, placing eighth.
Overall, the men placed 10th out of the 55 teams competing.
