Nasser has been a graduate assistant for the program since 2008

PHILADELPHIA – Stacey Nasser, who has worked with the Temple women's basketball program for the last two years as a graduate assistant, will now join third-year head coach Tonya Cardoza's staff full-time as the Director of Basketball Operations.

After working as a student manager for the University of Connecticut women's basketball team under then-assistant coach Cardoza, Nasser was hired as a graduate extern for Temple after Cardoza assumed the head coaching role in 2008.

“I'm really excited about Stacey joining our staff full-time,” said Cardoza. “She has worked closely with me over the last few years and demonstrated a great work ethic. She has learned a lot and is extremely excited about her new role. I'm happy to promote her to this position.”

As director of operations, Nasser will oversee and coordinate daily operations of the women's basketball program. She will organize team travel, coordinate practice operations and assist with managing summer camps.

Nasser was a four-year manager for UConn and served as the team's head manager as a senior. A native of Trumbull, Conn., she graduated with a degree in coaching and administration from UConn in 2008.

After two years at Temple, Nasser earned her master's degree in sport administration in 2010.
