Owls' home schedule includes visits from Duke, UCLA and Auburn
PHILADELPHIA - It promises to be an exciting season for Temple women's basketball, coming off a 24-9 year, a second-straight appearance in the NCAA Second Round and with two of three leading scorers returning to the team. Catch all the action at home by purchasing season tickets or single-game tickets, which go on sale today, Oct. 20 at 10:00 a.m. Visit www.ComcastTix.com to purchase tickets online.
Single-game tickets are $7.00 and are available by calling 1-800-298-4200 or by visiting www.ComcastTix.com. Season tickets are also on sale for only $50 - and can be purchased by calling the Temple Sales Office at 215-204-8499.
For their home opener, the Owls will host Miami (OH) out of the Mid-American Conference (MAC) at McGonigle Hall on Nov. 11. Temple will spend the rest of November on the road, but begin a five-game home slate in December with Auburn on Dec. 3. The homestand continues with Kent State on Dec. 6, and prior to the holiday break, the Owls will host UCLA on Dec. 20 and Villanova on Dec. 22. The month will wrap-up with what has become an annual meeting against Duke, at home on Dec. 30.
Highlights of the home Atlantic 10 schedule include visits from Duquesne and Massachusetts that will be part of doubleheaders with Temple's men's team, and a visit from Charlotte on Jan. 29 that will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
