The Owls are one of two undefeated teams left in the Atlantic 10 along with #7 Xavier. They are averaging 25.3 points per game more than their conference opponents so far, and lead the league in nearly every defensive category for conference games.

Reigning two-time Atlantic 10 Player of the Week and Big 5 Player of the Week Shey Peddy leads Temple with 13.6 points per game, and is followed closely by Kristen McCarthy at 12.7 ppg and Qwedia Wallace at 12.6 ppg. Peddy, McCarthy and Natasha Thames are all averaging almost exactly five rebounds per game to lead the Owls.

Megan Van Tatenhove leads St. Bonaventure with 15.5 points per game as well as 5.8 rebounds per game. The Bonnies are 15-9 overall and 5-4 in the Atlantic 10, but are coming off an 87-80 overtime loss to Dayton and a 56-50 loss at Richmond.

SERIES RECORD
Temple is 29-17 all-time against St. Bonaventure and has dominated the series since 2001 with a record of 14-3. But over the last two seasons, the Bonnies have had the Owls' number and taken two of three meetings. St. Bonaventure won 64-54 in Philadelphia last year, and also took the regular season meeting in 2009, 55-52. Temple avenged that loss in the quarterfinals of the 2009 A-10 Tournament with a 67-63 win.

AP VOTES
For the second week in a row and first time since early in the season, Temple is receiving votes in the AP Poll. With eight votes the Owls are ranked fifth of the 11 teams not in the top 25.

RPI REPORT
Temple is currently in 50th place in the RPI standings of 343 teams. Despite the Owls' tie with Xavier for first in the A-10, four conference teams rank higher in RPI (Xavier 9, Duquesne 39, Dayton 41, Charlotte 48).

OWLS SET 3-POINT SINGLE GAME RECORD
With 14 three-pointers in their win vs. Richmond on Jan. 29, the Owls surpassed the previous program record of 13, set a year ago. Kristen McCarthy was a perfect 5-of-5 from three-point range in the win, but it was senior Danielle Brinkley who was the hero.

Coming in off the bench with a previous career high of three points, Brinkley sank two three's to both tie the previous record and break it.

TOPS IN A-10 DEFENSE
In the conference-only stats, Temple is dominating in the defensive categories. The Owls are first in scoring defense (45.8 ppg), scoring margin (25.3 ppg), field goal pct. defense (.325), 3-pt pct. defense (.240), blocks (5.6 pg), steals (11.3 pg), turnover margin (+8.6) and assist/turnover ratio (1.3).

Shey Peddy is #1 in steals for league games (4.0 spg) and Victoria Macaulay is #3 in blocks for league games (1.6 bpg).

PEDDY THEFT
Shey Peddy, who has recorded at least one steal in 22 of Temple's 23 games, ranks first in the A-10 with 3.0 steals per game (4.0 in conference games). Peddy recorded an impressive eight steals in the Owls' win at UMass, marking her career high.

Peddy also ranks 20th in NCAA Division I?with her 3.0 spg. At 70 steals for the season, she stands just one away from breaking into the all-time single-season steals list at Temple.

THREE GRAND
An impressive three Owls (Temple's three leading scorers) have reached the 1,000-point milestone this season. Junior Shey Peddy was first, hitting the mark on Dec. 21. Her current 1,166 points include two years playing at Division I? Wright State. Junior Kristen McCarthy was next, reaching the milestone in a win vs. Saint Joseph's on Jan. 19, and has now scored 1,062 points to rank 15th all-time at Temple.

Senior Qwedia Wallace led the Owls with 21 points in a win at UMass on Jan. 26 to hit exactly 1,000 for her career. She was the 19th player in the history of the program to achieve the feat, and now ranks 17th with 1,036 points.

ON THE OUTSIDE LOOKING IN
Surprisingly for a team that had never been a real three-point threat, this year's squad has proven very capable behind the arc and is averaging 7.0 three's per game (2nd in the A-10). The Owls sank 14 vs. Richmond, 12 vs. #7 Ohio State and made 10 four other times (at #13/13 UCLA, vs. Rutgers, at Ohio and vs. Akron).

Temple's three-point percentage of .368, while ranking just fourth in the A-10, is 18th best in NCAA Division I.

LOW TURNOVER RATE
The Owls rank 8th in the nation for fewest turnovers at 13.9 per game. After just once recording fewer than 10 turnovers in 2009-10, Temple has done so six times already this year, with a season-low of seven vs. #7 Ohio State.

BALANCED ATTACK
Temple's top three scorers are about as balanced as it gets, with Shey Peddy at 13.6 ppg followed by Kristen McCarthy at 12.7 ppg and Qwedia Wallace at 12.6 ppg.

PEDDY EARNS BACK-TO-BACK A-10 HONORS
Shey Peddy was named both the Atlantic 10 and Philadelphia Big 5 Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Jan. 31 and again on Feb. 7. Peddy paced the Owls to four wins over the two weeks, averaging 19 ppg and 6.8 rpg. She shot 54.5 percent from the field, was a perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line, averaged over five assists per game and close to five steals per game. Peddy scored a season-high 26 points in the Owls' win at Duquesne on Feb. 5, the 10th straight victory for Temple.

STEAMROLLING
Over Temple's 10-game win streak, just three have been by a margin of less than 10 points. Since their three-point win at Charlotte, the Owls have averaged 28.4 more points per game than their seven A-10 opponents.

SCHOOL-RECORD 3-POINT PERCENTAGE
In the game following a program-record 14 three-pointers, the Owls were record-setting once again by draining 9-of-11 from behind the arc in their win vs. Saint Louis on Feb. 2. The 81.8 pct. is the tops all-time, men or women.
