McGee runs 400m, Malloy 60m hurdles

NEW YORK, N.Y. - Several members of the Temple men's track and field team competed at the Armory Collegiate Challenge held Friday night at the 168th Street Armory in New York City. Junior Tim Malloy ran a season best in the 60m hurdles, placing fifth in his heat.
Malloy posted a time of 8.53 in the 60m hurdles to place fifth in his heat. In the 400m, freshman Alex McGee ran a time of 50.75 to place second in his heat. Senior Eddie Penetar ran the one-mile run, placing seventh with a time of 4:16.63.
Members of the team that met qualifying marks this season will be competing in the IC4A Championships this weekend, held in Boston, Mass.
