Men's DMR Highlights Action At Final Day Of IC4A Championships

Mahoney, Taylor, Parisi and Penetar combine to better DMR school record
BOSTON, Mass. - The Temple men's distance medley relay highlighted action at the final day of the IC4A Championships held in Boston, Mass., on Sunday afternoon. The Owls placed 22nd out of 47 teams at the event.
The DMR, comprised of junior Travis Mahoney, and seniors Eddie Penetar, Lou Parisi and Aaron Taylor, smashed the school record they set at the Penn State National Invitational by running a time of 9:52.37 to place fifth. The quartet bested their original mark (9:57.58) by over five seconds.
Also in action for the Owls was freshman Gabe Pickett in the triple jump. Pickett placed 23rd with a leap of 45-01.75.
