Owls' sophomore hit .520 over 5-0 week for Owls
PHILADELPHIA - Announced by the league, Temple baseball's sophomore Daniel Dragos was named Philadelphia Big 5 Player of the Week, for the week ending April 25. Dragos hit .520 over a 5-0 week for the Owls, earning his first career weekly honor.
The Beltsville, Md., native batted .520 (13-for-25) with four doubles and three RBI in perfect week for the Owls. Dragos had four three-hit games and posted a .680 slugging percentage.
The Owls are in action today hosting Villanova, and will be traveling to Rhode Island for an Atlantic 10 series beginning Friday.
