PHILADELPHIA - Senior Assata Cowart has the honor of being the first Owl to compete in the prestigous Penn Relays, opening competitiong for the Temple women's track team in the 400m hurdles championship on Thursday, April 28, at 10:00 a.m. Cowart is one of three individuals competing with four Temple relay squads traveling to Franklin Field for the action.
Along with Cowart, junior Alanna Owens will be competing in the women's shot put Eastern on Thursday at 2:15 p.m. Junior Ebony Moore is also in action for the Owls, taking to the women's discus at 4:00 p.m. The women's 4x100m and 4x400m relays are competing at 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the 4x200m relay squad runs at 2:10 p.m. on Friday and the 4x800m relay runs at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
