Lacrosse Set to Host Two Atlantic 10 Games at Home on Friday and Sunday

Owls will face George Washington and Richmond at Geasey Field
PHILADELPHIA - George Washington and Richmond will both be in town to face the Temple lacrosse team this weekend, as the Owls play host to GW at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, April 8, and then to Richmond at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 10. Both games will be held at Temple's Geasey Field.
The Owls and the Colonials are both 1-1 in A-10 play, and both teams have struggled overall but come up with wins as of late. Temple won two of its three games last week by scores of 12-11, including a big win at Saint Joseph's. Sophomore Charlotte Swavola, the Owls' leading scorer this season with 23 goals, scored five against the Hawks including the game-winner.
Temple is looking to earn a berth in the Atlantic 10 Tournament which will be hosted by the Owls on April 29 and May 1. Last year Temple earned the fourth seed, and the Owls were projected to finish fourth again this year.
