Women's 4x4 and Sprint Relay Compete At Texas Relays

AUSTIN, Texas - The Temple women's 4x400m and 1600m sprint relay competed at the highly competitive Texas Relays. The Owls were comepting in the third day of action in Austin, with the 4x4 coming in 25th and the sprint relay turning in an 11th place finish.
Senior Shadaya Bennett, sophomores Victoria Gocht and Sheina Roberts were part of the 4x400m relay team that ran a time of 3:48.37. For the sprint relay, Bennett teammed with seniors Paris Williams and Tashima Stephens, along with sophomore Tonney Smith to place 11th with a time of 4:08.34.
The Owls will next compete in the Greyhound Invitational on April 15.
