Baseball Announces Fall Events; Alumni and Parents Day Scheduled for Oct. 9

PHILADELPHIA – In preparation for his first season at the helm of the Temple baseball program, head coach Ryan Wheeler has announced the 2012 team's schedule of events for the upcoming fall season.
Highlighted on the preseason schedule is an afternoon of fun activities, food and drink for alumni and parents. The 2011 Alumni and Parents Day will take place Oct. 9 at Skip Wilson Field at Noon. Those interested in taking part in the event can RSVP to ryan.wheeler@temple.edu.
The Owls opened fall practice on Sept. 18 and will continue to hold practice dates until Oct. 2 before hosting a prospect camp on Oct. 8.
Temple's fall slate of events concludes with a scrimmage at the University of Pennsylvania with the Quakers on Oct. 15.
