Williams carried the momentum into the day's final event in floor exercise, earning a score of 9.800 in the event, which was good enough for third place.
Sophomores Jasmine Johnson and Borschel also posted strong scores on the floor, setting scores of 9.725 and 8.650, respectively.
"Today was a day where the entire team stepped up and showed we're reaching the point of how we feel we can perform at every event," head coach Aaron Murphy said. "I looked at our scores of where we were this time a year ago and now with today's score, we are already better than where we were a year ago, so it gives this team a lot of confidence as we move forward."
Temple will be back in action next Sunday when it hosts its one and only meet at McGonigle Hall this season for the Ken Anderson Memorial Invitational. The Owls will face West Chester and Ursinus in the meet.
