PHILADELPHIA –
Following the program's highest ever finish at a Paul Short Invitational on Friday, the United State Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association has ranked Temple Men's Cross Country No. 13 in the Mid-Atlantic Region in the latest weekly polls.

In the 39th running of the event at Lehigh University, the Owls completed the 8k race with a 19th place finish, which marked the highest placement the team has clinched in the seven years that it has participated at the Paul Short Invitational.

Temple went into the race with a lot of momentum, as it was coming off a meet title in its season-opening run at the Friend Invitational back on Sept. 14.

With just one more tune-up on the slate before competing for the Atlantic 10 Conference Championship, the Owls will take part in the Leopard Invitational at Lafayette College on Oct. 13 when they return to action.
