Fencing Moves Up To No. 7 In Midseason Poll

PHILADELPHIA - In the latest national coaches' poll organized by CollegeFencing360.com, the Temple women's fencing team is now ranked No. 7 after spending the last month as the eighth-best team in the country, as labled in the first of three poll releases.
Since being recognized nationally on Jan. 19, the Owls have posted wins against Top 10 opponents, including No. 4 Northwestern twice and No. 9 Penn.
The now-No. 7 Owls compete in their final regular season meet on Saturday when it hosts the Temple Invitational beginning at 10:00 a.m. in McGonigle Hall. The Owls will honor its four seniors (Danielle Jones, Krystal Jones, Alyssa Lomuscio and Kamali Thompson) before taking on No. 2 Penn State, No. 3 Princeton, No. 5 St. John's and RV Duke.
