Owls' Series-Opener With Longwood Rained Out

FARMVILLE, Va. - Before Temple even had a chance to step into the batter's box, Friday afternoon's series opener with the Longwood Lancers was cancelled due to rain in the Farmville, Va. area.
Instead of a doubleheader on Saturday, the Owls and Lancers will attempt to play a single game at 3:00 p.m. with hopes that rain in the forecast will be out of the area. Sunday's series finale has now been rescheduled as part of a doublheader, which will commence at Noon.
