Owls Suffer 7-0 Setback at Old Dominion in Men's Tennis

Monarchs claim all ten matches
NORFOLK, Va. – The Temple men's tennis team suffered a 7-0 setback at the hands of Old Dominion on Thursday afternoon. The Owls (7-8) traveled to the Monarchs (10-8) for the non-conference match at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center.
It was all ODU from the start as the host team claimed the doubles point with a sweep. That trend continued into singles play with the Monarchs taking each match in straight-sets.
TU will return to Philadelphia for its final home match of the season on Saturday, March 31, against UMBC at TU Pavilion. The match, slated to begin at 2 p.m., will be the last home foray for seniors Filip Rams, Mansur Gishkaev, Stanislav Stekolshikov and Dmitry Vizhunov and the group will be honored at the match.
