Men's Crew Places Fourth in Heat at San Diego Classic

PHILADELPHIA – The Temple men's crew team traveled to the West Coast to compete in the prestigious San Diego Crew Classic Saturday and Sunday.
The Owls comprised of Don Norris (coxswain), Jimmy Barr (stroke), Aaron Heyde (seat-7), Mike Mirabella (seat-6), Brian Rehill (seat-5), Kevin Nally (seat-4), Perry Cox (seat-3), Djordje Vilamanovic (seat-2) and Brandon Joyce (bow) fourth in their heat in a tight race with a time of 6:08.445. Michigan barely bested TU for third place with a time of 6:08.045. Cal went on to win the heat with a time of 5:57 securing a place in tomorrow's final.
The Cherry and White will compete in the varsity petite final on Sunday April 1st, against British Columbia, Gonzaga and University of California, San Diego.
