Seven Temple Fencers Named To All-NIWFA Teams

Lomuscio Tabbed First Team Foil and All-Academic NIWFA Team
PHILADELPHIA— On Wednesday afternoon, the Temple women's fencing team, which is currently ranked No. 7 in the nation, received more good news, as seven members of the team were tabbed to the All-National Intercollegiate Women's Fencing Association team.
Four individuals from Temple were named to the first team of their respective weapon division.
Senior Alyssa Lomuscio and sophomore Epiphany Georges were named first team foil, sophomore Chantal Montrose to first team epee and senior Kamali Thompson to first team sabre.
Named to the second team for foil was senior Danielle Jones, while second-year fencer Kimberly Howell was honored as a member of the second epee squad and freshman Emily Dodson was cited on the sabre squad's second team.
In addition to her first team honor, Lomuscio was named to the NIWFA's All-Academic Team.
