Steve Nikorak Named SAAASC Student of the Month

PHILADELPHIA - The Student-Athlete Academic Advising & Support Center (SAAASC) has honored redshirt senior baseball player Steve Nikroak with its Student of the Month Award, which recognizes Temple student-athletes who embody what it means to be an Owl on and off the playing field.
Nikorak has quietly put together an impressive career at Temple. He is a four-year starter and three-time team captain on the diamond and is the team's best all-around player. In 2011, he was the conference leader in Runs Batted In (RBI), Doubles and Runs. Academically, he is a very conscientious and responsible student – praises he has received from his professors. This past fall Steve was featured in the Fox School of Business' Faces of Fox and he also earned a spot on the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll – awarded to all student-athletes in the conference that earned a 3.5 GPA or greater. Nikorak will graduate in May with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship.

“Steve is a class act and is always a pleasure to be around – his focus, determination, and positive outlook will take him far in life.
