Leading the team with scores on bars, beam and floor, Canning carried the Owls like she has done so many times over the course of the season and over her career. Her most impressive performance occurred during her routine in the floor exercise, where she earned a career-best score of 9.875, earning her a slot in the individual finals. The Billerica, Mass. native will also take part in the balance beam, individual final by virtue of her fourth place score of 9.775.

Watson was Temple's leader on the vault, having a season-high score of 9.775. Her score earned her a tie for fifth place with Brown's Danielle Hoffman, yielding her a spot in the individual final.

As a team, the Owls put up their most impressive performances on beam and floor, as the Owls placed second in both events.

Senior vault specialist Alexandra Uscatu took second place on the team in the vault event with her score of 9.675, marking her final event as a Temple Owl.

On this night, sixth-year head coach Aaron Murphy saw his freshman rise to the occasion, as three of them set season-high scores in events they participated.

First-year gymnast Lauren Capone led off the vault lineup for the Owls and earned her highest score all season with a tally of 9.575. In the floor exercise, freshmen Stephanie Verry and Brianna Ferdinandi earned their highest since performing in Temple leotards. Verry turned in a 9.775, while Ferdinandi's demonstration was garnered with a 9.600.

Freshman Alexis Arena placed third for the Owls on beam, having a score of 9.575.

Junior Ebone Grant had as good of a performance on bars as she's had all season, as she tied her season-best and career-high score of 9.525.

Junior Jean Alban, who will be looked upon as one of the leaders of next year's squad, bolstered the lineup for the Owls on bars and on beam. On bars, Alban turned in a score of 9.500, putting her just .050 off from tying her career-high. Alban tied sophomore Brittanie DeMeno for second place on the team with a score of 9.652.

On floor, sophomore Jasmine Johnson and freshman Natali Ruzich had outstanding scores. Johnson's stellar routine was good enough for a score of 9.800, while Ruzich took a 9.600 for her performance.

Ruzich posted a total of 9.350 on bars earlier in the evening.
