Owls head to Atlantic 10 Championship later this week
NORFOLK, Va. - The Temple women's tennis team was in action one final time in the regular season, dropping a 5-2 decision at Old Dominion on Sunday morning.
ODU claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3. Alicia Doms and Jordan Batey did prevent the sweep with an 8-6 win at the second flight.
In singles play, Paola Calderon and Maame Ama Osei were TU's winners. Calderon picked up a 6-4, 6-2 victory at No. 4 for her fifth-straight singles win, and Osei also won for the fith time in as many matches with a 6-2, 6-2 decision at No. 6.
The Owls (12-10) will head to the Atlantic 10 Championship on Thursday in Charlottesville, Va.
