Men's T&F Takes Part In Lion Invite At TCNJ; Finishes Penn Relays

EWING, N.J. - Sophomore Ryan Maccie placed first in his heat of the shot put and seventh overall with a mark of 13.42 meters (44' 0.5") at The Cpllege of New Jersey's Lion Invitational. Classmate Chris Zhou took third in the section and 11th overall in the event with his landing spot of 12.49 meters (40' 11.75").
The two sophomores also took part in the discus throw, where they placed in the order of 14th and 15th. Maccie's disc went 37.30 meters (122' 4"), just ahead of Zhou's which went 37.11 meters.
Freshman Dillon Tosto earned an 18th place finish with a mark of 45.24 meters (148' 5") in the javeline throw.
Completing the 118th Penn Relays, the Owls' 4x100 meter relay sqaud -consisting of Joshua McFrazier, Dylan Pensyl, Alex McGee and Damian Myers- finished the event in a time of 42.50.
For Temple, the regular season of the outdoor season has come to an end and it will now set its sights on next weekend's Atlantic 10 Championships in Amherst, Mass. on the campus of the University of Massachusetts.
