GAINESVILLE, Fla. –
In the second day of the Florida Relays at Percy Beard Track, the Temple men's 1600 meter sprint relay placed 13th with a solid finish time of 3:25.56 in the event. Sophomore Gabe Pickett was Temple's lone individual competitor on the men's side. Pickett landed an IC4A qualifying mark of 14.55 meters in the triple jump.

Cullen Davis, Louis Parisi, Dylan Pensyl and Josh McFrazier teamed up to form the 1600 meter sprint relay squad, who posted a IC4A time and came just short of surpassing the school's best time in the event, which was set back in 1987.

Kellar, Parisi, Davis and Alan Harding also put up impressive performances in the 4x800 meter relay with their sixth place time of 7:35.76.

On a side note, senior Travis Mahoney destroyed a TU record with his time in the 5000 meter run on Friday evening at the Stanforf Invitational with his time of 13:48.76, which was also an IC4A qualifying time.

The Owls will head to Fairfax, Va. for next Saturday's running of the Mason Spring Invitational at George Mason University.
