Men's 4x400 Meter Relay Team Sets Season-Best Time; Qualifies For IC4A Championship Event Finals

PRINCETON, N.J. – Temple took it to the events at William Weaver Track and Field Stadium on the campus of Princeton University on Saturday afternoon for the IC4A Championship preliminary events. For the Owls, the 4x400 meter relay squad were the standout performers. Comprised of Damian Myers, Lionel Wilson, Alex McGee and Alan Harding, the quartet took eighth place with a finish time of 3:13.36 to qualify for the event final being held on Sunday afternoon.
The 4x100 meter relay squad, made up of Josh McFrazier, Dylan Pensyl, McGee and Myers, came up with a strong 11th place finish, as they turned in a season-best time of 41.54 in the event, but just missed qualifying for the final running of the event.
Senior Lou Parisi put up a strong effort in the 800 meter run, but placed 10th and just short of the final event with his personal best time of 1:51.13.
Wilson and Harding represented the Owls in the 400 meter dash. Wilson claimed 17th place with his 47.78 finish time, while Harding ended the run less than a second later (48.65).
The 4x400 meter relay squad will join Derek Holland, Gabe Pickett, Tim Malloy and Darryl McDuffie for Sunday's final events at the IC4A Championships.
