Football Travels to Texas to Take on SMU

Temple travels to Dallas, Texas, to take on the 2-4 Southern Methodist University Mustangs at Gerald J. Ford Stadium on October 26. Kickoff is set for 2:00pm (CST) and 3:00pm (EST).
ESPN3?will broadcast the game with Sean Kenney calling the action and Pete Najarian providing color commentary. The Owls' radio broadcast will air on 1210 AM WPHT with Harry Donahue calling the play-by-play and Paul Palmer providing color analysis.
Last week Temple recorded its first win of the season and first under head coach Matt Rhule with a 33-14 victory over Army at Lincoln Financial Field. The offense got out to an early lead as QB P.J. Walker found WR Jalen Fitzpatrick for bombs of 45- and 37-yards on the first two possessions. The defense did its part as the Owls held a 26-0 lead at halftime. Overall, five different Owls found the end zone - Fitzpatrick, WR John Christopher, RBs Kenneth Harper and Zaire Williams, and MLB Nate D. Smith.
