Owls Fare Well Over Busy Weekend

PHILADELPHIA- Temple Men's rowing made an appearance, Saturday October, 26th at the annual Head of the Schuylkill Regatta, The Owls entered into the men's open 4+ with a boat comprised of Kyle Powell (coxswain), Hunter Devine (seat-4), Ryan Dartnell (seat-3), Nick Matousch (seat-2) and Vincent DiPentino (bow). The boat finished in 24th place with a time of 16:45.15, behind Villanova.
The Owls also competed at the prestigious Princeton 3-Mile chase on Lake Carnegie in Princeton, New Jersey. The Owls entered two boats into the men's heavyweight 8+. Temple A finished in 45th place with a time of 14:01.317. The boat was comprised of Dante Romeo (coxswain), Tom Robbins (seat-8), Charles Anderson (seat-7), Brian Reifsnyder (seat-6), Dan Sipzner (seat-5), Fergal Barry (seat- 4), Evan Hammond (seat-3), Joshua Kuzo (seat-2), Gary Wielgus (bow). The second Temple boat finished 5 places behind their counterpart in 50th with a time 14:53.863.The B Boat was comprised of Truman Levine (coxswain), Connor Murphy (seat-8), Pat Woodruff (seat-7), Ryan Dartnell (seat-6), Zephyr Dippel (seat-5), Steve Lindeman (seat-4), Nikolas Dula (seat-3), Nick Matousch (seat-2) and Mario DiCarlo (bow).
Catch the Owls back on the Schuylkill River at the Turn and Burn Regatta on November 11th.
