Temple Travels to Take on Rutgers

Temple travels up the New Jersey Turnpike to take on the 4-3 Rutgers Scarlet Knights at High Point Solutions Stadium on November 2. Kickoff is set for 12:00 noon (EDT).
ESPN Regional?will broadcast the game with Eamon McAnaney calling the action, Anthony Becht providing color commentary, and Brooke Weisbrod reporting from the sidelines. The Owls' radio broadcast will air on 1210 AM WPHT with Harry Donahue calling the play-by-play and Paul Palmer providing color analysis.
Coming off its first win of the season, Temple travelled to Dallas to take on SMU. After surrendering an early touchdown, Temple built a 28-7 lead just minutes before halftime. A quick drive before intermission cut the halftime lead to 28-14. The second half was a scoring explosion as SMU QB Garrett Gilbert threw for a school record 538 yards and 4 TDs and the Owls fell to the Mustangs 59-49. Highlighting the Owls day was a school record 239 receiving yards for WR Robby Anderson, including TDs for 83 and 42 yards. The 83-yarder, which came from WR Jalen Fiitzpatrick, was the third longest pass play in TU history.
