Foreign Invasion: Wyatt Joins His Teammates Playing Professionally Overseas

PHILADELPHIA - Temple made its first-ever trip to Europe in August, so it is only fitting the the five players who helped lead the Owls to a 24-10 record and a sixth-straight NCAA Tournament appearance have landed overseas.

With Khalif Wyatt signing a contract to play professional basketball with the Guangdong Southern Tigers of the Chinese Basketball Association, now all five of the Temple seniors/graduate students have signed contracts with professional teams in foreign countries.  

Scootie Randall signed a contract with the Ryuku Golden Kings, based in Okinawa, Japan.  he is currently averaging 14.9 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists for the Japan BL League team.

Jake O'Brien is playing in the Ukraine Superleague where he is averaging 13.0 points and 5.3 rebounds per game for Ferro-ZNTU.

T.J. DiLeo is with the Giessen 49ers of Germany's Pro A League.  He is averaging 7.2 points, 2.6 rebound and 2.4 assists per game.

Rahlir Hollis-Jefferson, who is playing in Luxembourg, rounds out the quintet.  He is averaging 14.8 points and 7.3 rebounds for Contem.

These five players helped lead Temple to 103 wins and four NCAA Tournaments over the last four seasons.
