BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Senior Will Kellar was the top finisher for Temple's men's cross country team at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships hosted by Lehigh University, placing 42nd in a time of 31:15 for the 10k race. Kellar has been Temple's top runner in all six meets this season.
As a team, Temple placed 21st of 26 teams at the regional meet. Over 170 runners competed, and Villanova took first place with the winning runner (freshman Patrick Tiernan) as well as three others in the top 10.
Ryan DeBarbarie was the Owls' next-best finisher behind Kellar, placing 128th with a time of 33:17. Two of his teammates finished in the next 20 seconds, with Owen Glatts placing 132nd (33:20) and Alex Izewski placing 141st (33:36).
