BRONX, N.Y. - In the final meet of the season for Temple men's cross country, sophomore Alex Izewski led the Owls with an 11th-place finish at the IC4A Championships in the Men's University Division.
Izewski finished the 5-mile race in a time of 26:19.6 to cross the line as Temple's fastest runner of the day. Three other Owls finished close together in the top 75, with Ryan DeBarberie placing 57th in 27:06.8, William Maltin placing 62nd in 27:11.0 and Owen Glatts finishing 72nd in 27:22.8.
As a team, Temple finished 14th of the 20 teams competing. Fordham University took the title with two runners in the top five including the meet champion, Jonathan Annelli.
