Owls Race Uncontested at Turn and Burn Regatta

PHILADELPHIA- Temple Men's Rowing fared well on the Schuylkill River at the Turn and Burn Regatta. The Owls team captains compiled even boats for the Men's Collegiate 8+ final race on Sunday, November 3rd.
As the only team entered in the final 8+ race the owls secured the 1st, 2nd and 3rd spots with three Temple boats.  Temple C secured first place with a boat comprised of Truman Levine (coxswain), Hunter Devine (seat-8), Charles Anderson (seat-7), Brian Reifsnyder (seat-6), Dan Sipzner (seat-5), Zephyr Dippel (seat-4), Robert Byrne (seat-3), Spencer Long (seat-2) and Mario DiCarlo (bow) .  Temple C finished the race with a time of 5:49.33. Five seconds behind their teammates was the Temple B boat. The boat was comprised of Dante Romeo (coxswain), Tom Robbins (seat-8), Gary Wielgus (seat-7), Fergal Barry (seat-6), Evan Hammond (seat-5), Nick Matousch (seat-4), Stephen Lindeman (seat-3), Kuhar (seat-2) and Dylon McCreavy (bow). The complete the race, Temple A led by Adbulakarov (coxswain), crossed the finish line with a time of 5:55.77. The boat was comprised of Connor Murphy (seat-8) , Pat Woodruff (seat-7), Joshua Kuzo (seat-6), Ryan Dartnell (seat-5), Kyle Powell (seat-4), Nikolas Dula (seat-3), Vittorio Dipentino (seat-2) and Vincent DiPentino (bow).
