Owls' Skipper Discusses Pitching Staff And New Additions In Part 3

PHILADELPHIA— With it being just three days until opening day for Temple Baseball, second-year head coach Ryan Wheeler sits down for the third part of “Countdown to First Pitch” and touches on this season's pitching rotation, how redshirt senior Steve Visnic will play a big role in the bullpen, and how his newcomers and returning redshirt players will impact the team this spring.

The Owls officially get the new season underway next Friday (Feb. 15) when they head to Cary, N.C., where they will play four games in three days at the USA Baseball Complex Classic. Starting with a double-header on Opening Day, the Owls will face Wright State and Delaware when they begin the season.
