Men's Tennis Loses 7-0 Match at Penn

PHILADELPHIA -
The Temple men's tennis team came up against a dominating Penn squad, falling 7-0 to the cross-city rival on Wednesday, February 20. The Owls fall to 2-4 with the loss.

The doubles point came down to the first flight after TU and the Quakers split the second and third. Penn won 8-6 at number two, before Kristian Marquart and Sam Rundle defeated their opponents at number three, 8-4. Jeremy Court and Zach Katz came out on top of an 8-6 decision over Kacper Rams and Santiago Canete at the first flight to claim the point.

In singles play, it was all Penn. The host team won each match in straight-sets on its way to the shutout victory.

Temple returns to play on Saturday, March 2, with a 5 p.m. match against Atlantic 10 foe and defending conference champion George Washington at Legacy Youth Education and Tennis Center.
