PHILADELPHIA – Temple Baseball is just one week away from opening its 2013 campaign. Over the next seven days, Owlsports.com will feature a four-part segment, “Countdown To First Pitch”, in which second-year skipper Ryan Wheeler will discuss and provide his outlook on the 2013 season.
In Part 1, Wheeler discusses his team's offseason preparations, the depth of his roster and the adjustments he has made from the time he took over as head coach of the Owls up to now.

The Owls officially get the new season underway next Friday (Feb. 15) when they head to Cary, N.C., where they will play four games in three days at the USA Baseball Complex. Starting with a double-header on Opening Day, the Owls will face Wright State and Delaware when they begin the season.
