Complete A-10 Awards Release

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Temple's Victoria Macaulay has been named to the 2012-13 Atlantic 10 Second Team and All-Defensive Team, in voting conducted among the league's 16 head coaches.

The A-10 coaches selected Charlotte's Jennifer Hailey as the Player of the Year, Duquesne's Jocelyn Floyd as the Defensive Player of the Year, Dayton's Amber Deane as the Rookie of the Year, Dayton's Olivia Applewhite as Sixth Player of the Year and Erin Shields of Saint Joseph's as the league's Most Improved Player. No. 12/12 Dayton's Jim Jabir was honored by his peers as Coach of the Year.

The Owls' only senior, Macaulay will leave Temple as one of the leading rebounders and shot-blockers in program history. She was a preseason Atlantic 10 First Team and All-Defensive Team selection, and proved herself worthy of those accolades as evidenced by her postseason awards and her performance all season.

She has recorded 14 career double-doubles, and ranks 10th all-time in program history with 706 career rebounds. She has blocked 203 shots to rank fourth all-time, and recently came just two shy of the program's single game record with nine blocks in a win vs. Saint Louis. Macaulay leads the team and ranks fourth in the conference with 9.2 rebounds per game. She also leads the team and ranks sixth in the A-10 with 14.4 points per game.
