Owls' Men's Tennis Falls 7-0 to Binghamton

PHILADELPHIA – The Temple men's tennis team continues to struggle, dropping a 7-0 decision to Binghamton on Saturday, March 9, at Legacy Youth Tennis and Education Center. The Owls are 2-7 while the Bearcats improve to 5-5.
In doubles play, Binghamton took the early edge with a win at the first flight. Kacper Rams and Santiago Canete turned around and defeated Sid Hazarika and Robin Lesage, 8-6, at flight No. 2 to mean the point would come down to the third flight. It was a battle, but the Bearcat squad ultimately came out on top with a 9-7 victory to claim the point.
In singles play, it was all Binghamton as the visitors took each match in straight sets.
TU falls to 2-7 and returns to action with a match at Duquesne on Wednesday, March 13 at 1:30 p.m.
