Men’s Crew Places Two Boats in the Grand Finals of Knecht Cup

Cherry Hill, NJ- The Temple Men's Crew Team competed aggressively today in the Knecht Cup on the Cooper River. The Owls advanced to the grand finals in the Frosh/Novice 4+ and Varsity 8+ races.
The Owls Frosh/Novice 4 boat, finished 2nd in the 1st heat with a time if 7:08.36. The boat was comprised of Truman Levine (coxswain), John Monaghan (seat-4), Nikolas Dula (seat-3), Nick Matousch (seat-2) and Sean O'Connell (box). LaSalle finished first in the heat with a time of 7:04.71.
In the Varsity 8 preliminary race, The Owls boat, comprised of Nicholas Palastro (coxswain), Michael Mirabella (seat-8), Charles Anderson (seat-7), Fergal Barry (seat-6), Gary Wielgus (seat-5), Brian Reifsnyder( seat-4), Joshua Kuzo (seat-3), Tom Robbins (seat-2) and Kevin Nally(bow) , finished 3rd in the 1st heat with a time of 5:59.51.
Catch the Owls Final races on Sunday April 14th, Starting at 8:20am with the Frosh/Novice 4+ Grand Final and 2pm for the Varsity 8+ Grand Final.
