Travel Issues Force Changes to Weekend Softball Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – With inclement weather hitting the Midwest all day yesterday, the Temple softball team's travel to St. Louis for its games this weekend was delayed and the squad just arrived this morning. Due to the travel issues, the originally scheduled single game at 3 p.m. today with the Saint Louis Billikens has been moved to a doubleheader tomorrow beginning at noon (Central Time).
TU and SLU will play the second game of the two-game series immediately following the noon contest. Both games will have live stats available (click here).
The Cherry & White carry a 19-18 overall record and a 7-3 mark in A-10 play into the weekend's contests. Temple currently sits in third place in the conference standings behind Saint Joseph's and UMass. After the Saint Louis series, the Owls head to Indianapolis for a twinbill at league newcomer Butler on Sunday.
