Schedule Changes to This Week's Non-Conference Softball Games

PHILADELPHIA – The Temple softball team, playing its final two non-conference opponents of the 2013 season this week, has announced changes to the schedule. The games at Iona and at home against Delaware State, both originally scheduled as doubleheaders, will now be single games.
The Owls (26-22) travel to play the Gaels (12-34) for a single game beginning at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30. The squad then returns home to host Delaware State (18-31) for a single game beginning at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1.
Weather permitting, both games will be streamed live. Live stats will also be available for both contests.
The Cherry & White are 26-22 overall and 13-5 in Atlantic 10 play. Temple, tied for third place in the conference standings, closes out the regular season after the mid-week games with a pair of single games at George Washington on Friday and Saturday, before hosting Fordham for a doubleheader on Sunday, May 5, for Senior Day.
