Volleyball Team Officially Begins 2013 Preseason

PHILADELPHIA - Temple volleyball has officially begun practice for the 2013 season, as the Owls convened for day one of preseason on Monday, Aug. 12. Check out the video to see the team in action, as well as listen to seniors Elyse Burkert and Gabriella Matautia discuss the new season.
Burkert and Matautia lead a group of five returning starters as Temple begins its first season in the newly-created American Athletic Conference. Matautia was an Atlantic 10 First Team pick last year who led the team with 437 kills, while Burkert was right there with her, recording 426 kills and starting in every match for Temple.
