PHILADELPHIA
- Looking to avenge a close loss on New Years Day, Temple men's basketball will host Rutgers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29 on ESPNU. Last time the Owls (5-13, 0-7) faced the Scarlet Knights (8-12, 2-5), they let a lead slip away in the final minute of the contest.

Recyclemania

Wednesday is the start of Recyclemania, an intercollegiate competition to promote waste reduction activities to campus communities. As a kick off to the program, Temple Athletics will host its first ever Zero Waste Game against Rutgers.

All vendor materials sold within the Liacouras Center will be 100 percent compostable or recyclable. Zero Waste Stations will be set up throughout the concourse, and volunteers will be on hand to assist fans with the waste sorting process. The first 500 students in attendance will receive a free shirt, courtesy of the Computer Recycling Center.
