Tyler Davis Named to the American's Weekly Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Temple volleyball's Tyler Davis was named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for her play October 7-12. This is the first career weekly honor for the sophomore.
Davis averaged 4.71 kills per set as Temple split a pair of American Athletic Conference matches against teams in the top-three of the league standings. Davis had a career-best 16 kills in the Owls 3-0 sweep of Cincinnati on Friday night, hitting .469 with just one error. On Saturday, Davis bested her best by recording 17 kills against Memphis, also adding five digs and a pair of blocks in the loss.Â
Temple continues its American Athletic Conference schedule next weeking, hitting the road for a pair of matches. The Owls will play at Houston on Friday at 7:00 p.m. and will play at Tulane on Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
