Sydlik Earns American Weekly Honor Roll Nod

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Temple volleyball's Sandra Sydlik was named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for her play during the period ending November 16. This is the third honor roll nod for the junior, who has also earned a Player of the Week honor this season.
Sydlik recorded double-doubles in both of Temple's matches this week, averaging 12.00 assists per set and 4.62 digs per set as the Owls ran their win streak to 10. In a five-set match against UConn, she tallied her 1,000th assist of the season, finishing with 54 total helpers. Sydlik also added a career-high 25 digs with five kills in the win. Against ECU, the setter dished out 42 assists despite playing only two and a half sets, adding 12 digs and two kills. Sydlik now has a team-leading 17 double-doubles this season.
Temple volleyball is back in action on Friday, traveling for an 8 p.m. match at Tulsa.
