Iacobini Earns American Weekly Honor Roll Nod

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Temple volleyball senior Jennifer Iacobini was named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for her play October 28 through November 2.
Iacobini led Temple to a pair of American wins on the road, moving the Owls into second place in the conference with their sixth-straight victory. On Friday, she recorded nine kills and seven blocks, while hitting .389 as Temple swept Memphis. On Sunday, Iacobini recorded 12 kills, hitting .360 with four blocks as Temple defeated Cincinnati. For the week, the senior hit .372 with 21 kills (3.00/set), 11 blocks (1.57/set), nine digs (1.29/set) and three aces, accounting for 4.21 points per set.
Temple returns home for a pair of tough conference opponents this weekend. The Owls will host USF on Friday at 7:00 p.m. and then play UCF on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
